Small Group Literacy Lessons
Building community outside of the family is important for your child’s sense of self and their development of social skills. I offer small group learning experiences for kiddos (3-4 children) with an emphasis on literacy skills and handwriting.
Small group experiences offer children a beautiful opportunity to socialize, share materials, and spend time learning together. Hands-on materials are utilized to enhance each individual child's engagement in fun ways, helping them to learn letter sounds, practice handwriting, and start to build words.
To support what we are learning in our literacy lessons, we will sing songs, rhyme words, play and read together as a group. I acknowledge and celebrate each child's incremental progress and achievements, no matter how small!
If you are interested in forming a small learning group for potty-trained children 4-7 years old, please consider the following:

-
We will meet for 2 hours each session.
-
I request that parents of students recruit a group of three to four kiddos prior to connecting with me.
*I request that the group of kiddos are similar in age. -
Parents curate a safe and conducive learning space to accommodate the kiddos and myself, making sure that the space is free from distractions, and provides enough space for the children to move freely as well as engage with provided materials.
Note: A 3-month commitment is encouraged to effectively track the arc of each child's progression. My availability for in-person small group literacy lessons are in the East Bay, Marin and Sonoma counties.
